Getting Started With Automated Giving.

Automating your giving is one of the best ways to build faithfulness into your stewardship of what God has given you. There are two ways to give automatically.

Online Giving Through Paypal You may also choose to give online through PayPal. It’s safe, simple and secure: all you’ll need are a few minutes to go through the process. As a new church our funds are routed through Lynchburg First Church of the Nazarene. (Note: a PayPal account is not required.)

  1. Click on the donation button that will bring you to PayPal
  2. Enter Donation Amount
  3. Memo Generations Church, Farmville in Memo field (this designates funds to our New Church)
  4. Login or Register if you have an existing PayPal account -or-
  5. Complete Credit Card information to give
  6. Acceptance and receipt of your donation (sent via email)

What does the Bible tell us about giving?

  1. You are taking a step of faith – When you sign up to give online you are deciding in advance to faithfully give. God always blesses that kind of faith!
  2. You will simplify your life – You won’t have to remember whether you gave this month or need to send in an offering by mail when you’re on a trip.
  3. You will be helping the church – Every person who gives through automatic giving makes our record keeping much easier.
  4. You can focus on worship at church – Instead of having to get out a pen and write out an envelope and check, you can focus entirely on worship.

Your information is held securely and confidentially in our system. This information will remain private and will never be given away to third parties, other than to process your scheduled contributions. You can schedule new contributions at any time and can modify or cancel those contributions at any time prior to the date they are scheduled. Once the contribution has been processed, however, it cannot be cancelled. If you have any problems or questions related to this, please contact us at giving-at-generationschurchva.com. You will receive a statement of giving quarterly for your tax records.

Generations Church is a holiness, missional, Christian community.

We are a church after the missio dei, God who is sent. We are joined together around a dream and a call to build a community in our town with Jesus Christ at the center of mission. Our desire is that we would be a sent, authentic community where people experience and express the reality of God’s love in the way of Jesus.
